AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens covers occupational exposure risks, protective measures, and what to do after a potential exposure. We keep the material tied to situations employees may actually encounter so the required concepts are easier to understand and apply.

Learners who successfully complete the applicable AHA course requirements receive the appropriate completion documentation through our Training Center process.

This course can be useful for designated workplace responders, security personnel, hospitality teams, and other employees whose duties may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials. It does not by itself replace an employer's broader exposure-control responsibilities.
