Training

Training should feel useful before the certificate ever arrives.

Limen Vitalis brings private medical training to workplaces, professional teams, families, and organizations across the San Diego region. We arrive with the instructors and equipment, then teach in a way that connects the required skill to the moment someone may actually need it.

Our instructional team includes EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and paramedics. Recognized courses are taught only by instructors who hold the qualifications required by the issuing program.

American Heart Association

AHA BLS Provider and Heartsaver courses give learners structured, hands-on practice in CPR, AED use, first aid, and related response skills. The course stays true to AHA requirements, but the room should never feel like a box-checking exercise. We coach the details that make a response work.

ACS STOP THE BLEED®

The official American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED® course is direct, practical, and hands-on. Learners practice recognizing life-threatening bleeding and controlling it with the techniques included in the ACS program. Successful learners receive the applicable ACS completion documentation.

Limen Vitalis skills training

Some teams want more time on a specific problem than a recognized course is designed to provide. Limen Vitalis supplemental training creates that space for bleeding control, naloxone response, emergency recognition, initial assessment, and other focused skills without blurring the credential that came before it.

Then we take the answer away.

LV Lab is where a known skill becomes a decision. Instead of announcing the diagnosis or telling the team which station they are at, the scenario gives them a patient and a problem. They have to notice what matters, communicate, act, and reassess.

Moulage, bleeding trainers, manikins, role-players, and environmental cues are used when they improve the exercise. The realism serves the learning objective, not the other way around.

Every scenario ends with a debrief that looks at what the team saw, what they missed, why they chose an intervention, and what they would change on the next attempt.
