Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you hold regular public classes?

Not right now. Limen Vitalis is focused on private mobile training. Individuals and small groups can still request a private appointment.

Who teaches the training?

Limen Vitalis is provider-led. Our instructional team includes EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and paramedics. Recognized courses are assigned only to instructors who hold the qualifications required for that program.

What is the difference between BLS and Heartsaver?

AHA BLS Provider is intended for healthcare professionals and others who require provider-level BLS. Heartsaver courses are generally built for workplace and community learners. If an employer or school gave you a specific requirement, send us the exact wording and we will help verify the match.

How far ahead should I schedule an AHA class?

Our Training Center ordinarily requires roster information at least 20 days before the requested course date. Shorter-notice requests can still be reviewed, but the date is not confirmed until the required processing is approved.

Do you sell the online AHA course?

No. If you independently complete the appropriate current AHA HeartCode course, Limen Vitalis can provide an eligible hands-on session when offered. We verify the prerequisite before the appointment.

What do I receive after an AHA course?

Learners who successfully complete the applicable course requirements receive the corresponding AHA eCard through our Training Center process.

Is your bleeding class the same as STOP THE BLEED®?

No. We offer both. ACS STOP THE BLEED® is the official American College of Surgeons course. LV Severe Bleeding & Tourniquet Skills is separate Limen Vitalis supplemental training for additional practice and scenario application.

Can simulation be added after a certification course?

Yes. LV Lab can follow a recognized course when a client wants learners to apply the skills in a more realistic problem. The simulation remains separate from the AHA or ACS credential.

Can you train at our workplace, community site, or range?

Yes, when the location is appropriate for the selected course and hands-on activities. Limen Vitalis provides medical training only and does not provide firearms instruction.

How long are the classes?

Each course listing gives an expected training time. Recognized-course timing follows the applicable program structure. LV training and simulation times are planning estimates and can change with learner count, objectives, and scenario complexity.

Does one class automatically make my organization OSHA or Cal/OSHA compliant?

No. A course may satisfy part of an employer's training obligation, but compliance depends on the actual regulation, workplace hazards, and the employer's broader program. We do not represent a single class as blanket regulatory compliance.
