Meet the Instructors

Medical training should be taught by people who understand the response.

Limen Vitalis is provider-led. Our instructional team includes EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and paramedics, and recognized courses are assigned only to instructors who hold the qualifications required for that program.

Daniel Jensen

Founder · EMT · Medical Instructor

Daniel is a practicing EMT, U.S. Navy veteran, American Heart Association BLS Instructor, and American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED® Instructor. His teaching style starts with the medicine behind the intervention, then brings it back to what the learner needs to notice and do in the moment.

Anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology matter when they make the skill easier to understand. The goal is not to bury a class in terminology; it is to give learners enough context that the steps make sense and are easier to recall when the situation is stressful.

Daniel continues undergraduate study in Health Science at Point Loma Nazarene University while developing Limen Vitalis training in trauma education, emergency response, and medical simulation.

Recognized courses stay recognized.

AHA courses are taught by appropriately qualified AHA instructors and processed through the applicable Training Center relationship with Express Training Solutions. Limen Vitalis is an independent training business and is not represented as an AHA Training Center.

Official ACS STOP THE BLEED® instruction is delivered by appropriately qualified instructors under the ACS program. Limen Vitalis simulation and proprietary skills training remain separate supplemental education.

Growing the team deliberately

Additional providers join the instructional team only after their professional credentials and course-specific instructor qualifications are verified. Each instructor is represented by the qualifications that person actually holds.
